The entire song uses a single riff that sounds like it’s straight out of the Jimi Hendrix playbook. The riff is actually quite difficult, but the trick is (as it often is) to try and keep your fingers loose and your hand relaxed. This is crucial because at multiple points during the riff you are going to barre with your point finger and do hammer-on’s and pull-offs with your ring/pinky finger at the same time.
In terms of effects, I used a little bit of reverb and set my pickup to rhythm to make it sound like the record. That’s all.
